Marriage Closure Counseling is a therapeutic intervention that assists couples in their personal transition pre- and post-divorce. It's designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for couples who are:
Negotiating or Navigating a divorce or separation agreement
Processing deep resentment
Not on the same page about wanting the divorce
Having difficulty keeping the children out of the conflict
Both feeling sad and/or ambivalent about the divorce
Trying to deal directly with one another rather than paying attorneys to deliver messages.
Goals of Marriage Closure Therapy
To bring closure to the relationship through reconciliation or dissolution
To help with co-parenting, facilitating grief, establishing clear boundaries and creating a respectful, productive plan to move forward after separation/divorce.
